Acceptance of Terms
Your agreement to use Eatyol
1.1 Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Eatyol, Inc. ("Eatyol," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Eatyol mobile application, website, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Eatyol application or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using our Service and uninstall the application from your device.
1.2 Eligibility
You must meet the following requirements to use Eatyol:
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). Users in the European Union must be at least 16 years old to comply with GDPR requirements.
- Legal Capacity: You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
- Account Accuracy: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Compliance: You must not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws or previously banned from our platform.
1.3 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will:

Share recipes, connect with other users, and participate in challenges
Expert Consultations (Pro)
Access to certified nutritionists and dietitians for personalized guidance
2.2 Service Availability
We strive to provide uninterrupted access to Eatyol, but we cannot guarantee that the Service will always be available or error-free. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- •Scheduled maintenance and updates
- •Emergency repairs or security patches
- •Technical difficulties or infrastructure issues
- •Force majeure events beyond our control
- •Third-party service provider outages (e.g., Firebase, cloud hosting)
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of planned maintenance and to restore the Service as quickly as possible in case of unplanned outages.
2.3 Changes to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. This includes adding or removing features, changing user interfaces, updating algorithms, or discontinuing certain functionalities. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service. Paid subscribers will be notified of significant changes that materially reduce functionality.
Account Registration
Creating and managing your Eatyol account
3.1 Account Creation
To access most features of Eatyol, you must create an account by providing:

- ✓Basic profile information
- ✓Health metrics (optional but recommended)
You may also sign up using third-party authentication (Google, Apple).
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account:

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse the Service, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will provide notice when possible, but immediate termination may occur for serious violations.

4.4 Auto-Renewal Terms
How Auto-Renewal Works: All Premium and Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription price.
When You're Charged:
- →After free trial ends (if applicable)
- →At the start of each billing cycle
- →24 hours before renewal date
How to Cancel:
- →iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions
- →Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions
- →Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal
Important: Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period even if you cancel. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Payment details are handled securely by Apple/Google. We do not store your payment card information.
4.7 Taxes
Subscription prices may be subject to applicable taxes, including VAT, GST, or sales tax, depending on your location. Taxes are calculated and collected by Apple App Store or Google Play Store according to local laws. The final amount charged will include any applicable taxes and will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
